I've yet to figure out what was the matter with the original joke.

Was it the fact that it was originally posted in the wrong forum, or is this offensive in some way that sails over my head at this point?

I mean, if it is just the fact that it was a stupid joke, who cares? After all, the lounge is home to a great deal of stupidity and irrelevant topics. Thats why I love it here!

So if this guy (no gender intended) comes in and wants to tell corny jokes, then let's just collectively roll our eyes and move on.

At first glance "No need for this s**t" was a little harsh, unless I'm missing something, which may very well be the case.

Can someone help alleviate my confusion. I'm not accusing anyone here, I'm just trying to understand.
