2. I'd be excited too... Heard they are re-habitating SE USA. That they used
to inhabit the entire area. Didn't know they were that far north.
I remember when a manatee was found in the East River in NY. a few years back.

....about reintroducin' panthers into Felsenthal Wildlife refuge...AND THE CLIP THEY USED SHOWED...get this....FEMALE LIONS...and I mean AFRICAN LIONS!!!! :eyes:

5. Things are getting all out of whack
They have a coyote in my neighborhood here in Florida. And it's an urban area.

6. here in L.A., there are mucho coyotes.... small dogs and cats are
prone to disappear. I live in the city but near the hills and one guy that actually feeds and knows the coyotes.

8. I've seen 4 close up
A den of pups out in WA and the one here but they are way out of thier natural habitat here. I keep my cat in at night since both are nocturnal creatures. There have been 15 cats gone missing here so far.

9. There were several sitings
around the Goose Lake area in Skamania county WA in the early 1950's.

7. Saw one once.
Out in the country side, near Roseburg, Or. Was driving along and one came right out of the grass, saw me coming, and leapt right back in. It was pretty cool.

Up in Bellingham my fiance had to walk with her roomate to classes because a cougar had been spotted in the woods behind campus and the dorms.
