Usually, I get PO'ed because it's always "guilty". So, otoh, it's nice to see that they're deviating from that (I like a surprise ending). But I didn't want that tonight.

6. Someone got to the producers for sure |

Went from the episode where the black cop went on a tirade against Bush to doing an episode where its okay to kill anti war protesters since they're all spoiled rich kids.

9. What pissed me off was the white detective in the first few minutes of the |
|
show equated the war in Iraq with "911 and three thousand dead people"

That AND the fact that the anti-war protester was against the war in Afghanistan. I think most of us here realize that that was far more necessary than the war in Iraq. I'd never protest the former; I would the latter.

Particularly neocon Fred Thompson's remark at the end, that "the people who won't serve in the military are the same people who won't serve on juries".

16. although, that could work both ways. |

Who wouldn't serve in the military?:
A) anti-war Dems, who are also generally able to get off jury duty because we're educated enough to do so, and,
B) pro-war rich Republicans: Delay, Bush, Cheney, Limbaugh, etc. etc, who also get off jury duty.
You've got people of both persuasions.

17. Edit your header so that this doesn't get locked |
|
Just change the title to "LAW and ORDER: SPOILERS INSIDE"
and then put "not guilty" inside the thread. It isn't fair to post spoilers in the title because west coasters haven't seen it yet.

Added lines for right wing were almost talking points. Just a thought, maybe rile up the troops? It's just not usually like that.

'slice of life' in America. It showed that emotivity takes over control of reason and of how the law is written. It also showed that there are 'excuses' for behavior, not normally excused, under the propaganda of war. It was very interesting. The verdict only underlined how things get bad under a 'war' president and the tribe follows.
