to me, having a pet that is that obese and not actively trying to slim it down is really just animal cruelty. I have three cats who all look well-fed, but I would say that the largest of the three might be overweight by 1 - 2 pounds and the smallest by a pound or so. They all keep themselves VERY busy chasing each other around the apartment all day and playing with each other. Also, we keep them on Science Diet Adult Light Formula which is very nutritious but far less rich than the regular stuff.
Would someone with a son or daughter who was triple his or her normal weight set up a site named tubkid . com and not expect to be run out of town? If they did then I'd say they needed MAJOR therapy.
