They look at my face really, really closely and then they don't card me.:-( And I think the rule is if you look thirty or younger, they're supposed to ask for ID. Does that happen to anyone else?

1. I was kinda insulted the last time I didn't get carded.
Especially since most people think I'm about 5 years younger than I actually am, since I can't grow facial hair worth a damn. :P

2. Well, I'm way over twenty one so I really can't
get offended. But the looking really close at my face thing is weird.

3. ithe rule is, it's if you look forty or younger
many places in louisiana and mississippi have the rule posted somewhere if you look for it

not 30 but 40

so if you're younger than 40, yeah, i guess it would be pretty insulting

at a vegas airport bar a bartender told us he was forced to card everyone and as a result had recently carded a man age 82 -- he carded my friend (well over 40 but not 82) because he was on the camera but didn't bother carding me, because i was away from the camera, pretty funny

i wouldn't read too much into it, they probably feel like they have to waste enough time carding people who are obviously old enough as it is

4. The last time I got carded was about the last time I bought alcohol
I was 43. And that was before the whole 'gotta look 30' thing started.
