last night she was holding hands with one boy

today she is going to a show with another boy...

the other one hangs out at our house and eats with us



she says she doesn't know which one if any she likes,

But for the life of me, I can't tell you how I did it. I can tell you I didn't do it alone.

I woke up one day and she had graduated high school, found some roommates of her own, gotten a job and a car and started college.

It was disturbing and frustrating and wonderful, and I'd give anything to do it all over again.

It's just weird not having a teenage girl around the house anymore.

the one she went to the movies with ate dinner with us. While hubby was grilling the shish k bobs they were playing with paintball guns...he pointed it at this boys crotch and said, treat my girl good or else ...with a grin...
