2. Yeah -- it's fine
Our dog eats raw eggs (with shell) no problem. He also gets raw meat, as a treat.

It's good for them.

5. If you look at dog food labels
You will see egg is often used in them. It's one of the ingredients in homemade pet food, usually combined with rice, so yeah, egg is fine for them.

6. Yes, but if the dog is a small dog, I'd not give the whole thing in one meal.
Spread it over a couple or 3.

7. I can see spreading the egg over two or three small dogs, but
Doesn't that make them all sticky?

10. I would have thought little boiled dogs would be more, um, rubbery
Than crumbly.

8. I've given both of my dogs scrambled eggs before.
They love it. But yeah, as others have warned it causes serious gas. :o

12. Just remember that when you try to blame sulfurous emanations on your dog...
...no one will believe you.

Next time, have a camera handy to document it.

17. My dad used to do that!
Rex, our border collie, used to sit under Dad's chair, and my dad would mock yell at Rex everytime he (Dad) had gas. But he couldn't keep a straight face when he did it, so everyone knew who had really done it!

13. Just beware of doggy gas, open a window.
One of the dogs loves boiled egss, will beg for one but she has to eat it outside and stay outside.

19. I had a very old dog that would make a rather loud noise when she passed gas.
It would wake her up and she would jump up and start barking.

It was so funny.

I miss the old dog.

18. I make my old (16 yo) dog a fried egg
every Sunday. She loves it. When she had a stomach disorder we were told by the vent to give her white rice and eggs.
