We are just now getting around to watching the "Idol" finals

We were out of the country for 16 days and missed the finals, although we were told who won. I must say I'm very happy that the little David did not win - I found him annoying as hell.

1. I fell asleep the night of the final performances

and missed it. Well, I've heard David C is selling lots of recordings already.

2. I loved Syesha Mercado and feel she was really the best of the lot.

Very sweet young woman with a lovely face and voice.

Personally, I didn't care for David Cook -- but I'm not a rock fan, so that probably explains it.

Good for him... it was a nice launch for all of those youngsters.

She was definitely most improved over the season and had some amazing performances.
