Movies about ghosts or with ghosts in them
White Noise was pretty good, kind of like Ghosthunters but scarier. Any others?

4. Actually that list is totally not complete. Ghostbusters 2 but no Ghostbusters?
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 10:01 PM by primate1
What the dilly, yo?

It's weird though, you'd think I'd be able to list movies off the top of my head with ghosts, because I love ghosts, but I can't, haha. I will suggest A Tale of Two Sisters though. That is a good'n.

25. That list can't be right. Does this look like a ghost movie to you?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8CwuOIimYI

I like "The Changeling."

Hmm, the list also appears to be missing "Don't Look Now," which while not precisely a ghost movie, is structured exactly like one.

A great love story. He dies, she can't let go. he comes back, they briefly relive their love, then he tries to make her dislike him so she can get on with her life. Great movie.

and it's more than a ghost story...
has themes of rebirth, and life victorious..
the dignity of the disabled..

and great cello music... if you like that kinda thing.

I thought I was the only person EVER who had seen that movie. Excellent! Very scary. Very psychological-I think that is why I love Japanese "horror" now days. (couldn't take a bath for months)

18. even Wikipedia is not perfect: "The Canterville Ghost"
classic old ghost movie starring Charles Laughton.

Leave us not forget all movies based on the Works of William Shakespeare which also feature Ghosts!

Hamlet
MacBeth
Richard III
come to mind most immediately

It was well written, constructed and acted. It was one of the better "scary" moves I have seen in a long time.

based on the Shirley Jackson novel "The Haunting of Hill House."

Julie Harris and Claire Bloom, young and beautiful.

But NOT the recent version with Catharine Zeta Jones.. yuk!
