So...behind the times here...but I enjoyed Michael Clayton |
|
a bunch.
Especially the acting, for the most part, all around. Clooney was good as a guy with his Clooney-like veneer wearing thin and his world-weariness showing through, I thought. Swinton and Wilkinson deserved all the attention they got, too, I think. And Pollack will be missed, eh?

I need to see it again, I need repeats on most movies, especially one like this. And the actors were great.
My husband didn't like it as much as I did. But he can watch fight movies and I can't so it's just different strokes I guess.

2. We watched him in "The Good German" last night... |
|
I fell asleep on the couch and Audio Al said it had a "muddled plot" with a couple of very unsavory lead characters.
"The Good Shepherd" was released that same week, and I believe I was the first to come up with:
"You can see both films and then tell people you saw "The Good German-Shepherd."

3. the acting was great and the film overall was good, but |
|
I didn't think the film was quite as good as advertised. Good and all, but Of the five best picture nominees, I would replace Michael Clayton with Into the Wild.
