I got to hold a baby today
A gorgeous little 5 month old girl named Julia. Good thing it's not possible for me to have more because I'd sure be tempted after today.

1. My dear Connonym!
That's exactly why babies are cute!

So people will want to have some more of them!

That's a sweet age too...

All smiles and cooing and so on!

:hi:

7. So I've been told! I think God is already preparing me for it.
I sleep like crap right now. This whole sleeping on your left side is for the birds! Thanks! :)

14. Normally I would sleep on my left side, but now since that is how
I am supposed to sleep, I want to sleep every other way possible.

13. Thanks! The older I get, the faster time seems to go by.
So I can imagine once I have this baby, it will fly by! :)

9. We are looking after 2 little kids now, and they are fun.
They also go home on Tuesday night.

We have kept a baby for a few nights, one of the little kids we are keeping now.

The nights were not fun, babies are a lot work.

I rather have the little kids, already housebroke.

is being able to hand it back.

15. Cool! I got to hold my 11 mos old nephew this weekend,
however, he pretty much cried for my sister everytime I did. :D He's going through that "attachment phase".

Anyway, he's the last baby of the family, and we were visiting them this past w/e, so it was special. They live 300 miles away. Babies grow and change soooo much during that first year. It's amazing to see.

I love the baby vibe, but I'm sooo glad to be past that stage. It's all-emcompassing and exhausting, too.

I'm happy to get it in small doses. I've paid my dues. :D
