the others stayed with us, and ultimately the little white and striped female found herself a new home where she is an only cat with no giant brothers to pick on her.

hopefully, you'll be treated like the Queen you are this summer and can just rest and relax. That's how it should be for pregnant women. You're doing very important work. :D

Life is crazy busy here, but good. My dtr is finishing up 5th grd and elementary school. She'll start middle school in the fall. Our oldest son is finishing up middle school and 8th grd. He's starting high school in the fall. They'll both have graduation ceremonies on the last day of school next Wed. 6/12, which also coincidentally happens to be our 15 yr wedding anniversary! Whew, lots of big transitions!

We're celebrating by going to Cancun for 10 days without the kids, while they're back east! :woohoo!

It's a splurge, but we deserve it. :hi: We have full and abundant lives, don't we?? :D They all manifest in different ways.....

31. OktoberKid in our former big, bad "baby truck"...

I think we had only had that monstrosity for a couple of days when we took that picture. We had found that Explorer in the local "Bulletin Board" weekly for $1500, though we only ended up paying the guy $1300 cash. It ran well, was o.k. on gas mileage, and with the lift and suspension improvements, i never had to worry about getting stuck in the mud or snow out in the 'wild and wonderful'.

She lasted a couple of years, then died, and we gave her to Oktoberain's step-dad for him to toy with. He got it running, then sold it to one of his fishing buddies. To the best of my knowledge, it's still rumbling through the hills between fishing holes.
