Excellent performance, easy to see the influence of performers like Arthur Alexander ("Anna") on Lennon's songwriting and performing styles. :toast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_yJzkF05-Q

2. Watching that is so bittersweet |

Those harmonies will live with me forever-but lately I've become so depressed thinking how long ago that was and I can't even enjoy listening to the Fabs anymore. Thanks anyway, for a sweet memory.

I appreciate this one a ton, as I do most of your music posts. So easy to forget the vocal harmony origins of the band sometimes. I love this period of Lennon's voice, the way it breaks in this and in Anna--"What am I supposed to do?"
Thanks again,
:hi:
