I figured out how to put ringtones on my iPhone without paying for them... |
|
and I'm going crazy assigning personalized ringtones to everyone in my contacts.
Amazingly, it's rather difficult to decide which songs to use. And then there's the humiliation factor. I could pick a really mean song for some people, but it'll be ringing on MY phone...

But Apple expects me to buy the song from iTunes and then pay AGAIN to turn the song into a ringtone.
I wouldn't be completely adverse to this, but the ringtone capability is only available on a VERY small selection of songs.
The sad thing is, in order to get around their ridiculous ringtone policy, I have to illegally download a song that I legally paid for from iTunes because Apple has put so many protections on their songs that the program doesn't work with them! BASTARDS.
See if I'm going to be a good citizen! :P
