Insomnia.
Been sleeping during the afternoon lately. Then I'm up all night, and when I try to go back to sleep, I only sleep for about two hours and I'm up again.
Anyone else have this problem? :banghead:

3. Hi! Please get evaluated by a doc...
could be depression, could be run of the mill insomnia, could be nothing.

Best wishes to you. :hi:

6. Try skipping the nap in the afternoon so you'll be really tired at night.
Insomnia is a sure way to become depressed.

8. I suffered for years
Turned out to be a nutrition deficiency. I'm a vegetarian and wasn't getting enough L Tryptophan in my diet. It's an amino acid precursor to several necessary hormones, including seratonin and melatonin.

500 millies of supplemental tryp 2 hours before bed fixes me right up.

9. I do have an insomnia problem
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 01:49 PM by mvd
I have sleep apnea, but am not sleeping better with the C-PAP. Sometimes I'll keep sleeping, but it doesn't feel very deep, and other times, I'm up most of the night and still can't nap. It always takes me a while to fall asleep. I never seem to feel fully awake, and it's hard to wake up. I battle annoying headaches, tiredness/drowsiness, and brain fog during the day - do you get that? I hope I can get to the bottom of what is wrong, because it sure is impacting my life.

Hope you can solve your problem without sleep medication. Try melatonin - I might.
