Glad I already quit my job - they had to lay off 6 people yesterday, 4 of them attorneys

I think they've hired one new person since I started my leave of absence, and they had hired 2 others in January. I wonder who got the ax. Five of us started in October, and 3 of us have already left. I don't know if they'd choose one of the two who started with me. I have to go clean out my office tomorrow and guess I'll find out more then. Funding is apparently tight for legal aid.

Mr. DTBK is looking for a job out of state, as neither of us wants to stay in Dallas. I'm not sure I'm going to look for a job until we move somewhere. I need to get off my arse and start getting rid of junk we don't need in preparation for eventually putting the house on the market. I'm just so fascinated by the campaign news that I can't lift a finger yet!
