anyone know what iron railings are worth?
we have one that is 30 feet long, 32 inches high (it was in front of my SO's late mother's house...along her front walkway).

I'm wondering if we could sell it for scrap or something.

Here's a pic

Ideas?

1. Might be worth it
I don't know the going price for iron, but we just brought a bunch of copper (pipes) and steel (lawn mower blades) to our local scrapyard, and we got $70 for it all (mostly for the copper). That ain't hay.

2. It looks like you are going to get....
under 50 cents per pound as scrap.

You might be better off trying to find someone who can use it as a railing, if it can be removed without much damage.
