9. DING DING DING! We have a winner!!!

My best friend and I, at our college graduation, sang that (and several other Simpsons songs) at the top of our lungs as we walked into Folsom Field with all the other graduates. We got a few weird looks and a few laughs, but we did it ebcause we were overjoyed and because it is a brilliant song.

Yep, a flick called Inferno e Paradiso ("Sweden, Hell or Heaven") , or something. I understand it debuted in the sauna scene. I love the Moppets and I miss Jim Henson, the little devil. ;)

26. Before I had children
(this is a serious secret so you have to promise not to tell a soul )

I used to watch Barney, so I'd have something to talk about with my nephew, who loved the damned show. I used to sing that godawful I Love You, You Love Me song all the time. A little Steven Burns is OK. The purple dinosaur is not.

Don't forget. You promised. :)

It's a sad song. It's usually how I feel. It's from the SNES game Chrono Trigger. I love that game.

24. Ahem.
How beautiful is this camomile? Doesn't it make you smile?

And knowing nothing of the game, I have to tell you that the song doesn't seem sad in the least to me. I kind of like that whole chimey thing going on. :)

30. Oh it's a sad song.
At the part of the game where that song is played, there's a war going on and many people are dying. I think you pay a chicken-looking creature at a bar to play that song.

And yes that chamomile makes me smile. Thanks. :)

23. He's decided he's going to have a punk band when he grows up.
And race bikes. I'm a little nervous about the latter, since he can't ride without training wheels, but he's a pretty good singer.

25. I have a strange feeling our boys would get along.
Das Poops is eight, tries to play guitar and piano, and does a mean grind. Not only that, but his music teacher says he has the voice of an angel. Heh.

How old is the lad, LeftyMom?

28. He just turned seven in April.
He keeps stealing my guitar. He has his own that fits, but it doesn't sound so great. I think I'm going to have to find him a small electric for giftmas.

He's a pretty good singer, but the thing that cracks me up is that he knows the lyrics to such a huge quantity of songs. Incredible memory that kid has. Luckily, he got really great musical genes from his Dad's side, he's a pretty good musician and has a rather nice singing voice, and the great memory from me.
