I'm about to mail a book off to my editor. He hasn't bought anything from me in a while, but he said he liked the beginning. Here's hoping he likes the rest.
And to help my karma along, I'm putting a package into the mail to my soldier in Iraq. She's coming home in a couple of weeks.

The fact that you've even had an editor buy from you in the past gives hope to those of us who continue to toil while entertaining distant dreams of success.

Learning to write and getting published is the best thing I've ever done. But don't think selling your first book makes you rich. I still have my day job.
