Do you eat a big breakfast?
Week days I eat toast or cereal and out the door. On the week end I wake up late, make eggs and bacon or sausage, even fries.

1. I have a large bowl of oatmeal every day. Steel cut oat meal
or Silver Palate Thick and Rough whichever I have. On occasion I get hungry for a 'truck driver's breakfast' of bacon, eggs. biscuits, gravy and hash browns

3. I try to eat healthy..
try.. to have fresh fruit, or a fruit smoothie,
or whole grain cereal with fruit..

I'm in a profession where lots of folks have breakfast meetings....

And it would be far too easy to get in the 'big breakfast' habit...

but I try to keep eggs, meats, potatoes, pancakes... to a quarterly minimum.

4. I don't eat breakfast.
Which I know is a bad habit, but I'm just not hungry in the morning. I drink coffee. I eat lunch between 11 and 12 usually.

5. IDK, what do you define as a big breakfast?
weekdays- A piece of fruit (like a plum or banana), half a LF cheese stick, 6 oz light yogart and a plain bagel. This is washed down with some Turkey Hill Diet Green Tea.

6. I eat leftovers.
I'm not a breakfast-foods sort of person, so when I eat breakfast it's usually leftover pizza or pasta, PB&J, sometimes cold soup (lentil) or chili, or whatever else is in the fridge. If I cook, it's grilled cheese or Boca burger, hashbrowns or sweet potato fries. Wash it down with a Coke, Cafe Americano (espresso and water) or an Americano (Campari and sweet vermouth on the rocks) depending how I feel.

8. No
I can't eat until I've been up a few hours. Sometimes I'll have a cup of coffee, but that's it.

Khash.

9. No--I'd never work off those calories
Usually it's a cup of coffee (a big one) and an English muffin with peanut butter or a croissant or a cereal bar. Then something else for "elevenses" in a halfhearted attempt to eat five or six small meals a day instead of three big meals to keep my blood sugar in check. Of course, croissants shouldn't be on my diet, so...

10. I used to not eat breakfast at all but now I have to since I am pregnant.
I still do not eat a big breakfast. I feel really sluggish if I do. I keep it simple, a bowl of cereal does it for me.

Of course, one look at me tells you that lunch and dinner are apparently a different story...

12. Not usually
If I'm on vacation or something I find myself eating all three meals large. Normally it is just coffee for me though.

:hi:

14. Sometimes on weekends
My usual weekday fare is a granola bar and a banana.

I love bacon and would eat it every day of the week if it were even remotely healthy....

16. Depends
Edited on Thu Jun-05-08 09:36 AM by Kentish Man
I like to, I like a big breakfast of fried eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy....yum. But, I can't be bothered to cook during the week, so I usually have leftovers or yogurt and coffee. I was just thinking about this this morning--I have no problem heating up leftover Hamburger Helper, or spaghetti, a hot dog, etc for breakfast, and likewise have no problem having eggs and bacon for lunch or dinner. I guess I don't separate foods into time slots???

edited for clarity
