In February, my mom lost her brother. It really got to her. She's one of 11 kids, and with her brother dying in February, there were only 4 of them left.

Today, she lost her sister to a massive stroke. My mom is inconsolable.

a good friend of mine who is almost eighty just recently became the last one left of her siblings, and she took it very hard.

Seeing someone you love in pain is often harder than dealing with the pain yourself. My husbands mother just past away and it is so hard to see him grieving.
