Weather alarm radios-possibly the greatest practical joke gift EVER
Edited on Thu Jun-05-08 01:18 PM by underpants
Yes I know that they have been vital to saving lives but two nights ago ours went off about 18 #*$%^*# times from 11PM to 4AM.

:grr::mad:

The worst part is that even when I unplugged it from the wall it still ran on batteries and YOU NEED A SCREWDRIVER TO GET THE DAMNED BATTERIES OUT!!!

:grr::mad:

I couldn't disable it-you feel like you HAVE to listen to each message just in case the guy says "Your ass is gone brother!" :scared::hide:
and no one wants to be the guy who has the "Disabled the weather alarm in a tornado" news of the weird guy.

Seriously buy one for your relatives this Christmas. They will NEVER forget it, trust me.

do you have it set for more than one zip code or whatever you use to set them?

I was gonna buy one... now I dunno... maybe I'll just wait for the sound of the tonado to wake me up. :P

3. Don't let me steer you away from one
it was a bad storm.

Lightning hit so close to my folks house that the doorbell rang and it was so humid the next day the sidewalks didn't dry up.

2. I bought one for my son for his birthday.
Actually here in North Georgia, we have some funky weather sometimes and it should come in handy.
