I am off work in less than 2 hours and my vacation will start.

Heading to a cabin in the woods, by a lake. No TV, no news, no phones, no stress, no politics for 8 whole days.
I need this sooooo bad.
I come here as soon as I get home to catch up.

3. We had no idea, when we planned this trip a year ago,

what we would have been going through. Not just the very long primary season, by my mother-in-law went into the hospital the middle of April and passed away the 6th of May. We need some down time.

4. Sounds wonderful. I was up at our cottage last weekend and the

woods was like a rainforest: the leaves were filled with water because there has been so much rain and not alot of heat to evaporate it all. I was in Quebec.

6. We will be in Minnesota. They have been having cool weather

and lots of rain.

7. It will be beautiful. I almost like it cool at the cottage cause we get

to sit around a fireplace and commune that way. Something about a hearth I like.

I enjoy taking a trip during which there is no TV, Radio, internet, newspaper etc.

In 2 weeks I am heading for CT to visit my sister. another type of shutting out the world, as we will be talking too much to observe the world.

I work tomorrow and then start a 13 day vacation. Can't wait!
