2. It's for junkies like me that want to remember a hideous amount of relational information
that is slowly revealed as part of a puzzle.

Plus there are some numbers, monsters, planes, people, water, and a convoluted plot both in time and in story.

3. It's about people stuck on an island...
but at this point some of them are off the island... and there's time travel... and death but not death... and lots of cryptic clues...

I love the puzzleyness. And the hot guys. :D

5. It is, quite simply, the best and most intriguing story on television ever.
Lost has a lot to offer, but the writing is just so extraordinary.

8. Go watch the show from the beginning.
Then read every article on www.lostpedia.com and you might figure out everything.

I like it because it is difficult. You have to pay attention, watch, then rewatch, then do some homework in order to follow it. It's an active viewing experience, not a passive one.

32. all 4 seasons?
of course the disadvantage is I can't do that in my comfy lounge chair or in bed. Which I can do with the DVD. Monthly charge for Netflix is same whether it is a TV series or movie.

19. It's an amazing show really. You can enjoy it on many levels. But I strongly suggest
starting at the beginning. I think watching it on dvd is actually way better and much less frustrating than waiting weeks or even months between episodes.

First off, it's a show about a group of survivors who crashed on an island while flying from Australia to the US. It's full of action and suspense and a very enjoyable ride for that reason alone. The production values are damn fantastic for a t.v. show (more on par with a good movie), the actors are good (and extremely attractive, which doesn't suck), the scripts are compelling. It's not dumbed down by any means.

It's also total mind-fuck science fiction full of flash-backs, weird coincidences, unexplained goings-on, mind-blowing twists and turns and plenty of secrets and clues. Many fans will analyze every detail of every scene to find clues and connections, and the creators of the show are just OCD enough to actually provide clues and connections in almost every detail in every scene. But you don't have to get that obsessed with it if you don't want to, it's very enjoyable without all that.

then you can rent the dvd's and watch it in peace without annoying commercials and seasonal breaks.

Love the fact that you can watch their shows online for FREE. :hi:
You only have to endure 3-4 30 second commericals. Not a big deal. Don't rent. Save your money!
Click on "full episodes" and have fun!

24. consider yourself lucky
It is a complete waste of time. It is incredibly stupid, and insulting to one of even average intelligence. It hurts my brain when I see it. God, TV is awful these days.... except Peep Show, which is brilliant.

25. okay, I think I sort of get it
I've found a place online where I can watch the whole thing if I wanted to.

I've been going through a bunch of files and directories and cleaning up a bunch of dupes and things no longer needed and creating more folders/organization and while I've been doing this, I've been watching truly trashy tv: Nip/Tuck.

I think that show must be a modern version of Dallas, but with a better sense of humor and hotter men. Except the guy that's supposed to be the hottest hottie is so obviously Rock Hudson gayish to me. Maybe he's not gay.. whether or not, I don't care because his character is such an egotistical ass who cares.

anyway, I can't watch some of the spots when they rip ppl's flesh off their bodies, but otherwise it's good mind candy. except I just made a new tunes mix that I like now.

but I have more files to go through (flesh files, not pixels) and didn't know if Lost should be my distraction from realizing I am going through all those files.
