5. That's an easy one
Start a nice warm fire, throw all your CDs on it and you'll be burning disks like crazy!

Khash.

3. Welcome to hell
My mom always wants me to explain how to use her computer to her. She did make a notebook of "Things Khash Said I Should Do". No, really!
My ex calls me up wanting me to tell him what to do - he's terrified of his computer.

Khash.

10. I'm the techie in the house, generally
As well as the one who assembles furniture, changes tires, checks fluids, etc. :eyes:

Oh SO much...He was on the phone with my MIL, and he turned around and said "Wanna go see my parents on Sunday?"..."Sure!"..."They need help setting up their new computer..."

9. Oh dear!
Good luck with that. Lots of deep breaths (with or without smoke) and frequent breaks.

My crazy fundie-Catholic Rush-lovin' Bush-worshippin' 70-something aunt wants Mr. MG to advise her on buying a laptop. He's dodged it so far. (So of course she thinks he hates her. Which he kind of does, alas.) We're trying to figure out why she wants to learn how to use a computer at this stage of her life; we're thinking she just wants to go to all the Web sites that Rush has told her about. Oh--and O'Reilly's site too.

13. Schweet
My aunt might not vote in November either. She's registered as an Independent (probably because Billo says he's one), so she couldn't vote in the primary, and she's disappointed in the Repub nominee. She wanted Romney because (get this) "He looks good."
:wtf:

I think she meant either that he looks "presidential" (what a great criterion) or she liked his religious conviction, which is kind of crazy, as I'd never have pegged her for being for a Mormon candidate. (Just a great example of how lousy the Repub slate was this year, I guess.)

"looks good" Oh my...That's just wrong, any way you take it, with regard to Rommey.
