We don't usually hear about this stuff because our media doesn't cover it. We're isolationist, except when it comes to invading other countries. We don't care about others' suffering.
If you didn't read BBC, would you know about this? I wouldn't.

I struggle whether I want to know and see everything, but then, I think, if I know maybe I can do something, or if not do something, I can inform someone who can. If that makes sense. I guess in the end I'd rather know then not know.
