2. LOL
I've been looking forward to summer since the end of August last year. That'll show ME, eh?

CA is starting to sound not so bad after all.... :)

4. LOL
I could use a little coolness. It has only been 75 degrees here lately and I am already drowning in my own sweat. I hate hormones.

3. Whoa!!
That's INSANE!

Maybe you should make a deal with the New Englanders. I think they'd trade you some cold for some of their heat. ;)

5. Ha ha!
And I would gladly trade! I loooooooooooove heat, actually.

The BEST part is hearing all the members of the Bush cult start saying "Somebody better call Al Gore and tell him thanks for the global warming!" :eyes:

In fact, the next person I hear say that stands a good chance of being popped in the mouth. Unfortunately - there's a good chance one of those people may be an owner or related to an owner of the company I work for. :scared:

8. I WILL concede that 102 is really freaking HOT.
But I'd still likely take that over what I've got now. I am really tired of freezing!

10. Another complication for me with this heat
is that I planned to hold TM's graduation party outside on the new patio. That is not going to happen, so I need to get the house cleaned and completely change what I was planning to serve. There is NO WAY I'm grilling in that heat. Ugh. :banghead:

7. I wish I could give you a few of our degrees.
It's been 100 here for the past 4 days.

It hit 100 degrees the earliest in recorded weather history here on Saturday (central NC).

The high this time of year is supposed to be in the mid-80s.

argggh

9. I tolerate heat very well.
But even so, I know that 100 is VERY hot. I can still enjoy that kind of heat though - provided it's not for the long, long term.

11. There seems to be some sort of a weather delivery mixup
Can somebody call GodEx or UDS (United Deity Service, of course :D)? Seems Washington State got Western NY's weather (yes, I've seen snow in mid- to late May 'round these parts). I don't know where your weather went to, but we seem to have heat and humidity that belongs to Florida, so you might want to check with them to see if they've got yours.

Damn, if there's any justice in the universe, heads are gonna roll at Corporate Weather...

18. And would you believe
Like a moron I chose yesterday to clean the living room and shampoo the rug (luckily just an area rug) and today to completely empty the dining room, scrub all the drywall dust off all the flat surfaces, chairs, and knicknacks (Mr. MG has some sort of thing against dropcloths, but when he's ready to start messing with the wall again, he's gonna learn!), and mop and polish the floor?

I. Am. So. Stupid.

But the bedrooms and upstairs hallway are next--tomorrow.

Snow's gone now - but it's cold and gray outside. Brrrr.

Where the hell did June go? We went straight to August. x(

However, snow in June beats a little hotter than normal.
