Of course, we named our daughter Bethan, a lovely traditional Welsh name, which 95% of the world has decided should be pronounced "Beth Ann". No, if I wanted to name my daughter Beth Ann, I would have. Luckily we can fall back on the old "It's pronounced like Bethany, but without the y sound". We have also given her permission to correct, albeit politely, anyone who mispronounces her name, even adults. For a 5 year old that's pretty heady stuff.

The first one's been mentioned a couple of times, but I'll just reiterate: pronounced 'Shih-teed'. Second and third are pronounced 'Oh-RON-jell-oh' and 'lay-MON-jell-oh', with the accent on the second syllable for both.
