Here on the coast it's 81, feels like 84, with 67% humidity. Very humid and crappy.

But, in my hometown, it's 94, feels like 97, with 40% humidity. And knowing my parents' house, no breeze. So glad I didn't go home today like I was planning to.

And I'm not leaving the house again today. No way. Keep Sniffa in your thoughts, he's out working in the sun. x(

1. Where are you?
It's horrible in Philadelphia as well.

I just called my girlfriend and reiterated how much I love her and value her friendship.

She said I could come over and use the pool after work.

2. Ha! I wish we had pool access...
We're in MA, South Shore, a lil bit south of Boston proper. :)

3. It pays to have friends with pools
Do they still have a water taxi at the airport?

Last time I was in Boston, the heat and humidity were comparable to this, I had to work around Faneuil Hall on a Monday, so I took the water taxi to my hotel on Sunday. The captain offered to give me a private tour of the harbor after 5pm - which I turned down not only because I was meeting my S.O. later on for dinner, but also because said captain was short, fat and smelly.

But even that couldn't put me off the concept of taking the water taxi - a much cooler, less stressful route from the airport!

When I talked to him at lunch, he'd already drank 1.5 liters, and had just bought another one. So there. :P

7. I hope Sniffa isn't a roofer, because you may never see him again
just kidding...what kind of work does he do outside? I used to mow lawns in Florida in the middle of the summer and that was pure hell-on-earth

10. My browser's weather thingy is saying 97, but it lies
It's probably 87 here on the coast. That sea breeze does wonders.

14. Just got back from doing a workshop.
It's brutal out there. And it was about a 15 minute walk from the train on the Lower East Side. I tried to make the best of it, but I'm soaked right now.

Get that boy hydrated when he gets home. And dirty martinis don't count on days like today.

:hi:
