Congrats to Ken Griffey Jr. for his 600th Homerun - a real class act!

Only because so many of these powerhitters are mired in scandals of using illegal substances to get their homeruns.

Ken Griffey has been flying under the radar with his homeruns and I've hardly heard a scandal related to the guy. I was excited when the Reds finally brought him home to play (his dad played for a good part of his career in Cincinati) but the Reds haven't been able to make it into the playoffs since adding Griffey to the roster.

Anyhow congrats to Junior on #600. He probably won't overtake Hank Aaron's record (I refuse to acknowledge Bond has it since he cheated his way to get those numbers) but I hope that Junior has enough years left in him to get into the playoffs with the Reds.

I was always a Reds fan but knew Griffey was on the Vermont Mariners which happen to be in the Eastern League. I specifically went to games when Vermont was in town (I was living in Harrisburg at the time) just to see him play.
