WHat do I put on the bites and what can I use to keep from getting bitten?
Benydryl knocks me out; anybody ever try another oral antihistamine for bug bites?

A lot of people say it repels mosquitoes.... don't know about other blood-suckers though.
Can you use a topical treatment instead of an antihistamine? Some kind of anti-itch lotion, like calamine or lanacaine?
