Does anybody have any experience selling photographs?

How much to sell them? Contracts? How to handle payments? Big question, if you sell to one publication does that preclude you from selling your photos to another? Also, if you have a photo that's an exclusive, say Britney Spears puking up all over her baby, how do determine how much that photo is worth relative to other stock or one time photos?
