I'm seeing my cardiologist tomorrow...
It's my day for a routine stress test...

The freaking treadmill!

Normally, I'm only a little concerned...

But I have been a bad girl, since I haven't been exercising for some time....

Therefore:

Could I have a few good vibes?

Just so I don't collapse tomorrow?

Thanks!

:hi:

8. Oh Miss CP , , ,
you doubt yourself too easily.

you'll do fine. i know you will.

i'm seeing my PCP next week due to my hospital *visit* in April w/chest pain for follow-up next week.
i have had a bit of pain off/on - but i really think it is stress.
i work out with my dominatrix, go to the gym (sometimes) and try to watch the fat intake.

you'll be fine - i'll be fine.

big hugs . . .

16. 2 cups o good vibes headin yer way CP.
OK let's make that 3 cups. I confess to needing more exercise myself. My dog takes me out for a walk every single day...(proof that my dog is quite wise indeed!) Often times, when the weather is not too frisky, my dog even takes me out to a nearby frisbee golf course where she watches me toss my frisbees AND watches me retrieve them too. Other than that, my bicycle languishes in the garage as does my hiking equipment. Soon though, summer will arrive in the Pacific Northwest and I'll be venturing out again on that bike.
Good luck tomorrow.

We haven't spoken in ages!

Thanks for showing up, and for all those cups of good vibes!

At least you have a dog that makes you get outdoors...

I am petless!

I belong to a terrific gym and lately I have been such a slob.

Enjoy your bike rides, sweetie!

21. It would really upset me to hear any bad news CP
so I do hope things go well, but that's selfish of me of course, I hope things remain well with your health...if you haven't been doing what you're need to do in order to keep healthy then I hope the test tells you so and you get back on track dear CP!

But I suspect and I hope you're being to critical of yourself and you'll be fine and the tests will at worst just show results that indicate you're fine but need to keep on top of your health dear ma'am.

But since you've been bad . . .

Before your doctor scolds you, inform him that you have resolved to spend more time on the treadmill!

39. Good vibes here from a kindred cardiac basket case !!
I both "beat the Reaper" and "fooled Mother Nature" a couple of years back.
I'm supposed to be dead. Mother Nature had me scheduled to conk out permanently
on April 29, 2004.

Because I remembered that my mom had high cholesterol, and that a mild shoulder twinge
could mean something, I went to see a cardiologist on a hunch. He freaked out and sent
me up to a high-tech cardiac clinic immediately, without so much as my supper. They
put in 2 stents (I had 2 coronary arteries 99% blocked), and told me I didn't break down
cholesterol, so I had to cut out cheese, butter, eggs, milk products, red meat and shellfish.
Well, red wine, too, but I never drink alcohol anyway, so that one was unnecessary. But,
difficult as it was, I cut all that stuff out, take the medication they tell me to take,
and cut my cholesterol by 60%. I miss cheese and ice cream something fierce, but not to
the point where I want that to be the lead-off line in my obituary.

I don't get as much exercise as I should, but that's what you get from a day job with
a lot of travel and weird hours. Even so, the checkups I have had since have shown me
to be as restored as I can be. Because I followed my hunch when I did, I never had a
heart attack, which I would have if I had let things go for another day or two. I lucked
out.

Peggy, you should be just fine. Do what the doc tells you to do, even if it means running
a few four minute miles.

You don't need to take that last comment literally if you don't wish to.

He does want me to resume exercising, of course...

But he was very pleased with my performance!
