PSA: When attempting to remove relatively fresh cat puke from a small throw rug... |
|
...do NOT take said throw rug outside and shake it.

Hey, hook a sister up and if you come across a nice single French dude who might be interested in a good-hearted but mildly insane American girl, send him my way, wouldja?

But I have always wanted to learn the language. So I could really use a victim friend with whom to practice.

Fresh honey, mmm. I had some when I was a kid and I still remember how goooood it was. It tastes different than the stuff you buy in stores. I don't know why it would, but it does.

I was going to respond "At least you didn't step in it first."
My sympathies, DA--with three cats, one that's a regular barfer of half-digested food and another that's a professional hairball spewer, I SO know how you feel! :(

17. Nope. Upwind, so I had no fair warning. |
|
I was just happy she got it on the throw rug instead of the floor this time. Well, until I tried to shake the damn thing. The rug, I mean. The cat escaped with one of her nine lives.
This time.

Then you can brush it off. Or you could have just thrown it in the washing machine.

27. I have a Puke Spoon and I love it. |
|
I have an old tablespoon dedicated to cleaning up messes from carpet and it makes clean up much easier and effective.
Just determine the grain of the carpet and then, going with the grain, press down on the spoon so it goes under the mess. Then just lift it off, deposit it on a paper towel and throw away. Then I use a plastic spray bottle of water to spray the area and then blot with paper towels. The spray bottle is much more efficient than just pouring water on a spot.
With a cheap plastic spray bottle and a spoon you can effectively and easily clean up anything with ease. Plus you'll wind up using just a fraction of the paper towels needed for any other method.
