That's the only browser I've got that shows sites that really are there as "not found."

8. Worked fine for me
You may need to just turn the computer off and start over. Sometimes works.
It could be a problem with your server or a bandwidth problem.
But it's there.

If you have a computer registry cleaning program, you might try giving your registry a clean.

27. If you're using Windows XP's firewall,
you could try shutting it off, visiting the site for a test, and then turning your firewall back on again.

24. If you're using firefox, try this:
Edited on Thu Jun-12-08 05:22 PM by Kutjara
Type "about:config" into the address bar (without the quotes). You'll go to a whole slew of "hidden" Firefox settings (after a dire warning about "voiding your warranty" - like Firefox has a warranty). Now, type "IPv6" (again, without the quotes) into the "Filter" line. You should then see "network.dns.disableIPv6". Double click on this, so that the word "false" at the end switches to "true." Now restart Firefox and see if you can access the page.

I usually find that, if I can't access one page or another, it's usually because the server hosting that page gets confused when IPv6 is enabled on the user's browser.

You can leave IPv6 switched off, because very few sites use it and those that do also support IPv4.

30. Try downloading Opera or Safari.
It might be a Firefox-specific problem that you can get around by using another browser for that site.

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is that the site might be blocking you. That happened to me on Linux.org a month or so ago. I was configuring my home network and must have accidentally pinged linux.org so many times it triggered the "suspicious connection" alarm and blocked my IP address. I left it for a week or so and everything was back to normal.

26. Did they switch servers recently?
Could just be that your ISP hasn't updated the DNS yet.

But if that's the case, the problem could fix itself PDQ. Just FYI.

29. I would suggest the following
Empty out your browser's history and temporary files

If you are using Window's XP or higher right click and select repair on your network connection

finally try this link
