I think they were repairing or replacing it. Apparently a worker's soldering iron or some other tool set the fire although I don't think they ever determined for sure. But now it looks just like it did before. I can see it from a window in our office.

First Unitarian Church!!

We (BIG we) were married in the First Unitarian Church of Arlington, Virginia.
It seemed like a geographical compromise. We had a double wedding. My brother's
wife was from Japan and mine was from Germany, and the event looked like an
informal United Nations, so we decided to meet somewhere in the middle. You
should have seen the parents' table at the reception afterwards--a LOT of
gesturing and confusion!

We aren't at 43 years yet (Virginia has laws about getting married at 13! LOL),
but we're on our way!
