The movers have gone and as usual, there's more stuff to take in the cars than we have room. Lelapin and I are spent and beginning to snap at each other. I can't remember when I've been so tired. Tired to the bones.

I've been on hold with Time Warner for 30 minutes trying to find out why no one came to disconnect and pick up the equipment. I'd really like to get out of here. :(

18. Doesn't TWC in your area offer a place to drop off your equipment?

Here when we want to disconnect service, we just do the disconnection ourselves and lug the equipment to TWC's office. Worst thing with that is standing in queue. But at least there's no waiting around on a cable "guy" (it usually is a man) to turn up.

Seriously I hope the move goes well... I hate moving and have moved 4 times in the last two and a half years (from our too-small house to temporary accommodations with my in-laws to an apartment for a year, back with the in laws to now where we are in a twenty-something year old trailer - at least it's paid for and ours). Fortunately it's been local and we've managed with just my mother in law's pick up truck and the minivan for all but one of the moves. I'd hate having to move out of the county let alone out of state.

19. There is a drop off location

about 25 miles from where I live. They were supposed to come this morning and since I was there with the movers, it seemed reasonable.

Venus Rising has graciously offered to let them come pick up the equipment at her place.

10. Well i'm happy for you even though i know you're really tired. Moving is the suck.

we moved from Mass to Texas and then Texas to California, i still have 2 boxes i haven't unpacked from out move 8 years ago.
