It's a big day for the Shine household.... Celebrate with us!!!

ShineGirl graduated from 5th grade this morning. She's our last one to go through the elementary school...and after nine years, it's the end of an era. She'll start middle school in the fall.

ShineBoy graduated from 8th grade this afternoon and goes on to high school.

AND it's the 15 yr wedding anniversary for MrShine and I!! :bounce:

Tomorrow ShineBoy goes off for his big week-long 8th grade grad trip to DC and NY. We're extending it an extra week for him to spend with Grandpa out in VA and ShineGirl flies out on Monday BY HERSELF from SF to DC to stay two weeks with Grandpa. (Send good vibes for Safety and Protection, please.)

Meanwhile....MrShine and I are taking off on Tuesday for 10 DAYS in Cancun, baby!! We're staying at the same place Matcom and MrsMatcom stayed earlier. :woohoo: Can't wait!!

20. I just left the 8th grade graduation dance...

of which I was the co-chair for the Dance Decorating committee. We did a whole nautical theme of "Cruising Into the Future" as they move on to high school. Cute, and the place looked amazing.

The 8th grade dance is typically chaperoned by 6th and 7th grader parents, b/c the 8th graders DON'T WANT their parents there, watching them.

I wasn't planning to stay, and I was on my way out.....but not before ShineBoy came up to me and said,
