Well, I spend the day getting ready for the wake for my friend's mother.

She passed away this week and was creamated a few days ago.

We picked up her ashes today, her ashes are now in her favorite wooden box.

The box is sitting on the big round table, I think she would have liked that.

I was there when she passed away, it looked like a peaceful passing.

Tomorrow we will go and pick out something to plant Saturday in my back yard and spread her ashes.

I think a rose garden would be nice, she liked roses.

This way my friend can come over and be with her mother when she needs to.

This has been a powerful expience for me, really made me think about life.

My friend's mother had a great life, traveled far and wide, and helped many people in her life.

I raise a :toast: to Katy, my friend Mother.

I think everybody here in the lounge would have liked her, she was a lot of fun to be with.
