Kittimus Prime has a new addiction (***kitten photos***)
It appears KP loves TV. I have never seen a cat sit for an entire program before. First he bounces around the house like crazy. Then he settles in on the couch with my son:

To watch Nicktoons on the bigscreen (he really seems to like SponegeBob)
Although this held his attention pretty well:

Only, it makes him sleepy and so he yawns:

And snuggles into my sleeping son's back:

Bonus being that on this, the night before the first day of summer vacation, my son is already sleeping. :)

2. Okay -- that last picture is ridiculously cute
Mick likes to watch the TV. God forbid sheep come on the TV. He flips the fuck out.

Tonight, we had cute overload at his herding lesson. His trainer has a litter of 5 Maremma puppies. I didn't get any pics, but I stole one from the interwebs.

6. That is stupifyingly cute.
I would love to see Mick herd the television. :) He would love to have Jessie's current job of counting (I swear to god she keeps track) and herding the children in the back yard. :hi:

13. He starts frantically searching the dining room, because that's sort of behind the TV
Now just imagine five of those pups running all over the farm and climbing up on the rock walls, etc. Sooo cute!

One tried to nurse on Mick, and another one humped him. They all spent plenty of time licking his face and chewing on his tail before his lesson. He just ignored it all. Haruka's parents and sister came to see the lesson. If her stepdad wasn't there, her mom would have been writing out a check for a puppy. However, her stepdad doesn't like "guard" dogs.

16. What a good boy Mick is to put up with that.
If I had been there, I would have been writing out a check. Show me a baby, and I'll buy it. That's how we ended up with KP. :)

23. Mick is a very good boy
Except for when Haruka found him standing on the dining room table last night. We mistakenly thought the cat food was safe up there.

If we owned this house, we'd be writing out a check for one of those pups. I don't think our landlord would be too thrilled with a 100lb furball, though.

24. Probably not.
And the visual image I just got of Mick on the dining room table made me cry tears of mirth.

4. Your son looks like an angel when he sleeps.
He's a very good-looking kid. It's good he's good-natured or he would break a lot of hearts in the years to come!

I am biased, I know, but I could watch him sleep for hours. And (he will kill me for posting this) he still sucks on an imaginary pacifier. Every once in awhile you can hear "cuk, cuk, cuk" just as if he still had a binky. :)

But "bonus" in regards to "already sleeping" only applies until 5am, when he awakens full of vigor! :scared:

8. True...
and you have described what will happen to a T. He was just worn out from baseball tonight. It will be an early morning...but I'll think about that...tomorrow. :)

Isn't it funny how they can get up so early in the summer and yet it's like pulling teeth during the school year?

14. Me not so much either.
I get rather tired of it because they run them one after another, after another. When he was very small, and we would go to the grocery store, he would shout,"Mama! Mama! SpongeBob houses!" and get so excited. :)

...Mrs Robeson. She'll sit there and watch the show as long as Mrs R does.

28. Our Anastasia used to watch nature shows on PBS
especially ones with birds. She'd sit perfectly still, except for her tail, which would be going rapidly back and forth.

Mom named her "Anastasia" after the lost Russian princess; she padded in through an open back door just as we were about to serve Thanksgiving dinner! Who knows how long she'd been outdoors, hunting real, live birds?

29. Kids will be kids, on two legs or four
I don't know of any kid who doesn't like cartoons, be it a child, puppy, or kitten. My roomie's dogs liked cartoons when they were puppies; and Ruby liked SpongeBob when she was a kitten.
