I made my daughter cry yesterday.
I thanked her lawyer for
making it possible for
daughter to visit her brother.

All three of us cried.

1. That is wonderful news.
I hope they have a nice visit and that soon you don't need lawyers so that they can see each other.

6. Daughter finally worked through her legal difficulties
and was able to visit her brother after three years of no contact.

Her lawyer made it happen.

We all had an emotional reaction.

9. Why couldn't she see him?
What was the legal trouble?

11. She had failed to appear for a court date four years ago.
With that on the record she couldn't visit her brother
who has been in prison for more than three years.

If she had tried to visit him, she would have been arrested.
She finally decided to clear up her issues, and her lawyer
has helped her through the process of clearing this problem.

About three weeks ago, her lawyer got the warrant quashed,
and daughter was able to visit with him last Sunday.

When I was thanking the lawyer for what she had done so far,
including making it possible for daughter to visit, the tears flowed.
