I hate those dumb spots from John Hancock with people IM'ing, there is no dialog, all you hear is typing and incoming message sound.

We've got a commercial running right now. All it shows is a bag of dogfood, the bowl and a white dog that looks vaguely like a pit bull (yes, I know they don't come in white) eating. The sound, cranked up as far as it will go, is the dog chomping and slobbering and choking.

28. I hate all commercials but when the volume itself, goes way up, it pisses me off!!

Especially NBC local!! They turn up the volume wicked loud when they cut to commercials.
I have my sound low but when they go to commercials, it is super loud!!! :grr:
I also hate the shows like Ellen and The View that have all the damn screaming all the time!!

The only thing more annoying than Paul Blanco of Paul Blanco Chevrolet talking like that and saying his own name five times in a thirty second spot, is when his whiny-voiced grade school aged sprogs tell me to take my car to his lot for service. Why on earth would I take car advice from a kid who's got to be half a decade away from learning to drive? Please take your car to My Daddy, (I swear, they punch his name the same way, it's creepy) or he says I'll have to go to public school next year! :eyes:

Sadly, the same lot used to be a Cal Worthington dealership, and they set the standard for amusingly surreal commercials. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

I mute all ads on television. What bothers me are the epileptic movie ads that insist on ruining my eyesight. I think they are in league with the laser eye surgery industry.

However, on the radio, I hate sirens in ads or music. I always think its real.
