Huge Crop Circle formation discovered in South Korea

A Korean photographer has published photos of a huge crop circle formation that was discovered on June 3, 2008 in a cultivated field of (so far) unknown crop near Boryoung City in South Korea.

According to what we were able to translate from the site and estimate from the images, the formation's diameter must range between something like 150 and up to 200 meters (450-600 ft) in diameter

So far this formation is the very first crop circle documented in South Korea.

According to the photographer "98papa" it felt different entering the flattened areas. He described his sensation as like and electrical current and weakening.

1. I find this somewhat gratifying
I had thought that those loony cerealogists were confined to the US and Europe. Nice to see that the craziness is worldwide.

6. Don't be so quick to dismiss crop circles.

7. Dismiss them? No way! Some pranksters worked very hard to create this thing
However, I dismiss the crazy notion that some paranormal force is at work making pretty stamped-down designs in the world's grain fields.

8. That's not very scientific...
Who are you, the authority on how alien species would communicate with us or not? You're close-mindedness is somewhat offensive.

9. If they're smart enough to get here, they're smart enough to find an effective communication method.
Actually being verifiably and undeniably seen, in a place where there would be a lot of photo/video evidence- say a low flyover of Disneyworld or London or someplace like that where a decent cross-section of the world's population would see them- would be a start. Or taking over a TV signal. Or landing on the White House lawn and getting out for a visit. Or a radio signal. Or...

If you can't think of dozens of ways to communicate that work better than big swirlies in cereal crops, you're not trying very hard. Surely an advanced civilization could manage at least one.

15. People just don't understand.

The aliens aren't trying to talk to us. They are grain-based life forms. They are attempting to communicate with the very crops themselves.

I have, in fact, decoded many crop circles. Most are along the lines of "rise up and defeat your bipedal oppressors!"

That would be awesome!

12. They did. You think the craters are an accident?
The crop circles are our answers.

The one in England means "sod off".

The one in S Korea means "don't aim here - aim north of here"

Don't you read "circle"?

:hi:

I wonder if I can join their club.

2. looks really cool
though it almost looks like some sort of corporate logo. Perhaps the intersteller mining company of Xanadu 7 has claimed that land for their mining operations, lol.

17. It's a message from aliens - they're telling us they are an argon-breathing
upright symmetric quadrupedal species from a binary solar system in which one of the binaries is a black hole. There is no other possible explanation (human technology is not capable of work of this sophistication)...
