Saw Iron Maiden last night-Ask me anything!
I caught them at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Drove two hours from Columbus for the show. It was the fourth time I've seen them and probably the best of the four times.

1. Well, you've already answered my first question (how was it?)!
I haven't seen them since Adrian left the band after Seventh Son. Here's a question now that I think about it, how do they spilt up the guitar work these days? Do all three take solos on most songs, or do they get a little fancier and pass back and forth like they are trading licks? How do they handle the harmony parts, do they do three part harmonies, or do they kepp a rhythym guiar going to thicken up the sound.

Up the Irons.

On a related topic, I just picked up tickets to see Judas Priest when they come to MN, and their new album will be out next week. I'm pretty stoked!

2. They mostly take turns on the solos for the songs
Most of the songs have more than two solo sections, so it's pretty fair. I noted that Janick doesn't tend to take the initial solo of a song, but otherwise it was pretty equal. The harmony parts are usually played with one guitarist playing rhythym, although a few tunes had all three harmonizing, which was pretty cool.

The two Eddie puppets used included the walking puppet for Somewhere in Time and the mummy with fireworks-shooting eyes for the giant version behind the stage. Both were new updated versions of the old ones from the 80s tours.

9. Did you see me?
Section 333, middle rows. HOT as balls last night. Eddie as a mummy was the shit.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner = otherworldly.

10. Haven't seen them since the tour for Powerslave.
But they were awesome all three times I saw them. When I think of "heavy metal" I think Maiden and Priest.
