Just watched "The Eye" last night and IT SUCKED |
|
I'm on a roll here. First, "There Will Be Blood," a monumental waste of almost three damn hours that I'll never get back, and now this. Apparently we've already seen everything that is any good at all on Netflix.

3. I'd love to see a good "Hitchcock-type" psychological thriller. |
|
All we get now is blood, guts and monsters. Ugh.

4. Oh, yeah. Major suckage. |
|
Saw it in the theatre (had passes thank god). Wanted to see it because the original was really good, but of course the remakes are never as good as the Asian originals.

6. Did you see the original Chinese version or the remake? |

I liked the Chinese version. In fact, Asian horror flicks are the only ones I can stand anymore.

7. The remake, with Jessica Alba |
|
It blew, big-time. Some suspenseful moments, but overall, naaaaaaaaaaah.

9. See, there was your mistake |
|
U.S. remakes of foreign films usually suck. (LL's rule of movie viewing.)

11. Hell, I didn't even know it WAS a remake. |
|
The synopsis sounded interesting. The flick, however, wasn't.

I love that the Asian films are more about the scare (what's behind the door kinda thing) as opposed to monsters, cannibals, flesh eating viruses, gore, etc.

10. Yeah, the original is decent. |
|
Why does Hollywood feel compelled to remake every ssingle Asian horror film?
