Still, to earn 4 points total by beating France next week and overcoming the 3-goal differential tries the faith of the most devout of us Azzurri faithful. But I have to believe.
Forza Azzurri!

Not really, but in this case, I'll pull for France. It should be a good match.

I still haven't gotten over them diving their way past Australia in '06. Get inside the box, wait for a challenge, and drop like you've been shot, waving your arms and crying "foul." Fucking Italy. Hate 'em.

it's 3-1 now, Christ Holland has some great attacking skills.
edit. It might as well be game over, France learned nothing from the beat down Italy received.

16. Fantasy league question.... Torres V Ibrahimovic |
|
Edited on Fri Jun-13-08 03:31 PM by BlueStateGirl
For tomorrow's match.... should I take out Henry and replace him with Torres or Ibrahimovic? Villa?
Ribbery in the mid field.... 86 him and go with Ljunberg?
Or is there a decent Greek midfielder?

Damn!. It must feel good to be Dutch at the moment. The Oranje powerhouse is rising again, they were tres cool in the 70s.
They saved football again with their performance today :)
From the looks of it at least this time around there will be deserving winner, hopefully.

21. The next 2 games should be interesting... |
|
I'm curious how the Netherlands will approach it. They could field an under-strength team to rest their starters for the next round, lose to Romania, and still get top of the group and knock Italy AND France out of the competition in one fell swoop...
