1. I am curious about it.
I would rather someone else go see it and tell me if it sucks or not! :P

3. No.
Critics are saying it's easily his worst movie yet, and that's a mouthful.

If that doesn't scare you away, Adam Sandler's movie is getting better reviews.

7. Sure, sure. Happens everytime.
Of course, those are the time of people who hear "his first R rated movie ever" and think "oh boy, I'm gonna see that one!"

9. That's why I don't want to see it

When I heard the voiceover guy say "M. Night Shyamalan's first 'R' rated movie" that sent up red flags that this is a mountain of shit.

19. You just need to find a critic or group of critics that speak to your tastes.
I love Slant's film reviews, for example, even if I don't agree with them all the time, because they generally speak to my tastes.

And aggregate reviews like Rotten Tomatoes give a good general idea as well.

21. I don't tend to agree with the critics on Shymalan
I know... that's not quite "I don't listen to the critics; they don't know shit," but close... But I don't tend to listen to them on Shymalan (and tend to take them with a grain of salt in general). They hated both The Village and Lady in the Water and I liked both movies, so I'm obviously looking for different things in movies than the majority of critics.

he's dead to me, and trying to gin up interest with the whole rated r thing just makes it's worse.

15. I saw a clip on Letterman...
...the other night when Zooey Deschanel was on. The commercials for the movie make it look kinda good but the clip I saw was really, really bad. It seems that most of the folks over at IMdB are trashing the movie.

18. No! I saw it this morning (my son had to drag me to see it)..
It was awful. No character development, no plot, you don't care what's happening, or why. You don't really find out, anyway. The actors were just walking through their parts. Hated it.

20. Has M. Night Shyamalan made a movie that has required a theater visit?
Most people won't forgive him for that stupid FDLS monster in the woods film. But honestly I hated Unbreakable with a passion. (Signs was stupid but okay)+
