I just got a potential job lead!!!

I can't say too much about it since it hasn't even been posted yet but needless to say I have a little bit of inside lobbying going on for me. I don't want to jinx it but this job would be an absolute dream for me. Great salary, great school district to work for and close to home.

I'm so nervous and excited I'm having trouble writing the personal statements on the application. It shouldn't be *that* hard to write what qualities I find in a good administrator and why technology is important in education. I think I need to step away and take a deep breath

Both my older sons got an 'inside' tip about job openings, a year ago, at a global company and the jobs weren't listed to the public and they weren't going to pursue it until I got on their case and they got hired and this week is their 1st anniversary and my oldest son called me, talking about leaving the job to go back and finish college and you can imagine my reaction to THAT nonsense and I told him to think long and hard about that. I suggested night school, etc. So anyways, he calls me yesterday and he got a RAISE and is now making $32.00 an hour!! :P Oh, and he's decided that he'll keep the job!! :) That inside tip paid off! ;) I hope you get it!!

$32 an hour is a nice chunk of change. I must be a lot like your son since I don't really go for things unless a relative or close friend convinces me otherwise. I guess I'm in need of a good boot in the ass every now and then :P
