How does one go about ending their profile?

I don't think you can "end" a profile, since that's just the part of the account that tells a little bit about you (your hobby is guitar.)

If you want to close your account, and not be a poster at DU, you can email or PM the administrators.

At the top of the page. Choose "edit your preferences" from the left hand side. Then click on "hide your profile".
