5. Hey....I wanted to tell you about those.

I just finally got around to hooking all my stuff back up Friday afternoon (it was too hot to mess with that kind of thing all week...I get aggravated easily by electronics), and your CDs were the first thing I played. There was just a few things I didn't really get into, but a lot of that stuff was awesome to hear again. Some of that I haven't heard in 20 odd years since I was a dj at a roller skating rink, and man, talk about flashbacks! Having some of those songs again is awesome. I mean, you can't go wrong with Public Enemy, but friggin' Kurtis Blow? That was out of left field (or should I say it came from off the bench?). "They're playing basketbaaaalllll" has been stuck in my head since I played it. I loved that song! :)

I had a smile on my face through both CDs. I love compilations like that where it's music I liked but just never bought for myself because I'm into so many other things. It was an interesting mix of tunes. Breaking out those songs some nights will be a lot of fun.

And the ipod is working great too!
